My experience in the Bahamas definitely had its highs and its
lows. For example, being bed ridden in one of the most beautiful places in the
whole world was slightly depressing. However, that being said, the highs unquestionably
outweighed the lows. Not only did I spend my winter break in an amazing
country, I was able to spend it with some truly amazing people who I now have
the privilege to call my friends. We had so much fun, and, with Professor Levy’s
guidance, we were able to work together as a team to create a formal project
for Junkanoo experts in just a few days.
